Der FIFA Puskás-Preis 2011 geht an Neymar
Auf der großen FIFA Gala „Ballon d’Or“ wurden nicht nur Weltfussballer und Weltrainer ausgezeichnet, sondern es wurde auch das schönste Tor des abgelaufenen Jahres gewählt und mit dem FIFA Puskás-Preis 2011 ausgezeichnet. Gewonnen hat dabei ein gewisser Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior, auch nur als das von der halben Welt gejagte Jahrhundertalent Neymar bekannt. Für ihn ist das Wahlergebnis etwas überraschend, denn so besonders findet er sein Tor halt dann doch nicht. Kleiner Doppelpass, bisserl die Gegenspieler ausgespielt und dann halt ins Tor geschossen. Was ist da denn so besonderes dabei? Eigentlich nichts, obwohl er es am Ende des Interviews dann doch noch selber sagt: Es war ein kompletter Spielzug, ohne Wenn und ohne Aber!
Ich finde, das war das beste Tor meiner Karriere. Ich habe den Ball auf der linken Seite unter Kontrolle gebracht, zwei Gegenspieler stehengelassen, einen Mannschaftskameraden angespielt, dann haben wir einen tollen Doppelpass hingelegt, und ich konnte zwei weitere Gegenspieler ausschalten, bevor ich das Ganze mit einem Tor abschloss. Das war praktisch ein kompletter Spielzug. (Neymar im Interview mit dem FIFA-Magazin)
